Cinamon Basil gives this Pesto recipe a unique flavor.
Ingredients:
2 c basil plus cinnamon basil
1 handful arugula
¼ c extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp crushed garlic (about 2 cloves)
¼ tsp + 1/8 tsp salt
¼ c pine nuts
Directions:
place all ingredients except pine nuts in food processor and process until basil is chopped
add pine nuts and process until very small pieces (do not over process, there should be flecks of pine nuts throughout)
