If you were at the June 08 potluck you heard Joyce Wang talk of the many healthy benefits of raw honey. Below you will find the links and recipes that she handed out at the potluck. Some very good information here.
User’s Guide for Honey
How to use honey?
Internal use:
AM: Take one spoonful of honey; mix it with a cup of cold water to relieve constipation. Mixing it with warm water eases sore throats. After lunch, floss and take one honey stick to help keep oral health.
PM: Take one or two tablespoons of honey before going to bed, it will help with sleeping, losing weight, and repairing the body.
You can spread honey on bread, mix with oatmeal or drinks, just don’t heat or cook the honey to high temperatures (above 140F degrees). Pure Michigan Honey can help with allergies.

Honey Lemonade
1. Buy one, two or a bag of lemons, wash them.
2. Cut the lemons into four parts, and just get rid of the seeds, keep everything else.
3. Cut the lemons into small pieces, and then measure it with cups or bowls.
4. Use 1:1 ratio: i.e. 1 cup of lemon to 1 cup of honey, or 1lb of lemon to 1lb of honey, put them in the blender.
5. Push the "Liquefy" button, make it like a liquid; and then pour the liquid into a jar (glass or plastic), put the lid on. Leave it on the counter for 24 hours.
6. After 24 hours, put the honey lemonade into the refrigerator, it is ready for consumption.
7. Take one or two tablespoons of this liquid every morning with oat meal, bread or just add some water and drink it, it will be ok, or take it to lunch.
I usually buy a bag 2 or 3 pounds of fresh lemons, I make 3 to 4 jars of honey lemonade, I keep one jar in the refrigerator, and others in the freezer, so when I need more, and I don't have time to make it, I just get one from the freezer and use it.
