The most amazing raw food chicken nuggets you will ever eat
2 c walnuts soaked 4-6 hours or overnight
2 c sunflower seeds soaked 4-6 hours or overnight
1 c sunflower seeds soaked 4-6 hours or overnight and then dehydrated
1 c sundried tomatoes soaked 4-6 hours or overnight in
1 c orange juice
1 onion
2 cl garlic
1/4 yellow or red bell pepper
10 fresh sage leaves or 1 TBSP dried
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp tumeric
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 TBSP dark miso
1 TBSP liquid soy lecithin (find at the health food store)
sesame seeds to sprinkle on top of the nuggets
food process the tomatoes in their liquid and blend until a paste
add onion and garlic, blend again
add herbs and spices and blend
finally add nuts and process till smooth (may need to do in 2 batches)
put into a bowl and stir in the lecithin
with a coffee grinder, powder the dehydrated sunflower seeds
stir into batter till blended
spoon onto teflex sheets by the tablespoon (could be 3 trays)
dehydrate 6-8 hours at 105-115, flip half way through drying time
make the sweet and sour sauce
dip your nuggets into the sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds
continue dehydrating for another 4-6 hours
