Asian Cabbage Salad


Slaw with a nut based dressing, sort of like a peanut base but with almonds


6 c packaged shredded slaw mix (cabbage and carrots)  or fresh shredded   
1 c fresh sugar snap peas, trimmed and thinly sliced   
1/2 c pulse chopped yellow squash   
1/4 c thinly sliced, green onion   
1/4 c chopped walnuts   
fresh chives (optional)   
1/3 c almond butter   
1 tsp curry powder   
1/2 tsp each of sea salt, garlic powder, ground ginger   
blend ingredients   
then gradually whisk 1/3 c of water   
2 TBSP lemon juice   
2 TBSP olive oil until smooth  


toss veggies and dressing, cover and chill about 30 minutes   
toss with chives and walnuts just before serving
