Chai Spice Chutney

Sweet chutney for use with fruits or crackers

carob, ginger
Ingredients: 

2 C dates in 2 C water
2 Tbs raw carob powder
1 Tbs cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 c minced ginger
1/2 c olive oil
1 Tbs vanilla extract (optional)

Directions: 

Bend all well, store in a jar in the refrigerator.
Sprinkle over sliced apples or other fruit
