Date Sesame Montague Chews

Very sweet and chewy bar type dessert

Ingredients: 

2 c hulled sesame seed, soaked 5 hours in 3 cups water
1 c pitted dates, soaked 1 hour in 3/4 c water
1 tsp ground ginger

Directions: 

Put dates and their soak water in blender with ginger.
Blend at med speed until smooth.
Drain sesame seeds and discard water.
Add to dates and blend again at med speed until well mixed.
Put on teflex sheet about 3/8 inch thick and dehydrate for 12 hours, flip over onto regular sheet
and dehydrate until desired crispness.
Mine took another 8.
Cut into squares.
Can be stored in refrigerator up to one week.
