Frozen dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth

pecans, figs, dessert, pine nuts
Ingredients: 

1 1/2 C pecan pieces
2 1/2 c black mission figs, soaked 2 hours in 1 c water
1/2 c pine nuts
2 T carob powder
1/2 t cardamom

Directions: 

spread 3/4 c pecans across bottom of a 9 in square pan.
Blend figs, soak water, pine nuts, carob, and cardmom until creamy.
Pour over pecan pieces and spread evenly.
Sprinkle remaining pecans on top and press down firmly.
Freeze 5 hrs til solid.
Cut in squares and remove from pan just before serving.
Can be kept in freezer up to 1 month
