Ingredients:
Crust Ingredients:
2 c walnuts (soaked in distilled water for 6 hours and drained)
5 pitted dates
Filling Ingredients:
3 sweet apples (cored and quartered)
juice of ½ lemon (approx. 2 TBSP)
Topping Ingredients:
2 apples (cored and quartered)
1-1/2 c raisins
juice of ½ lemon
1 ripe banana
2 tsp apple pie spice
lemon zest (grated peel)
Directions:
mix crust ingredients in food processor until gooey and press into a pie plate
pulse apples for filling in food processor until chunky, add lemon juice and spread on crust
process all topping ingredients except ½ c raisins until smooth and spread on top of apple mix
garnish with remaining ½ c raisins
