Tastes just like cooked macaroons

Ingredients: 

3 c dried, unsweetened coconut flakes
1/3 c coconut butter (oil)
1 ½ c cocoa powder or 1 ½ c fine almond flour for the blonde ones
1 TBSP vanilla extract
1 c maple syrup
½ tsp sea salt
 

Directions: 

in a large bowl combine all the ingredients and stir well to combine
use a small ice cream scoop, your hands or a big tablespoon to scoop the dough onto a dehydrator screen
It may help to refrigerate the mix a bit prior to scooping
Dehydrate at 115 for 12 to 24 hours until mixture is crisp on outside and chewy on the inside
