Spinach Pie

Main dish spinach pie that you can sink your teeth into

spinach
Ingredients: 

Crust
1 c almonds blanched or not
1-2 TBSP water
FILLING
1 package frozen organic spinach, thawed
Dash of nutmeg
Blend the following:
1 c water
1 c cashews
1 tsp honey
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp salt

Directions: 

Crust
grind almonds in food processor adding enough water to form a dough ball
roll out between two sheets of wax paper, remove top sheet & place in a pie
pan, dehydrate until dry to the touch, about an hour
Filling
Thaw the spinach
add the nutmeg
set aside
Blend the water, cashews, honey, garlic and salt
pour mixture into the spinach
add about 2 TBSP finely chopped onion if desired
Pour onto dehydrated crust, put back in dehydrator 1-2 hours to
warm.
Top with ground pumpkin seeds
