This is sweet but it could be the main dish for a meal too
Ingredients:
Crust
2 c finely ground almonds
1/4 c water
Filling
2 c sliced sweet potatoes
5 medjool dates, pitted
1/2 c raw agave nectar or maple syrup
1 TBSP cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp clove
dash of sea salt
1/4 c macadamia nuts processed to fine crumbs in food processor
Directions:
Crust
combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until the mixture will press together
press into the bottom of a pie plate and set aside
Filling
add all but the macadamia nuts to food processor and process until very smooth
pour over the crust
top with the macadamia
place in dehydrator at 110 for 2 hours
